Richie Bruckshot also known as Richard Kennedy is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Richie started his musical voyage in 7th grade after being mesmerized with his peers rapping songs that he never heard before. Richie began rapping every day at lunch, recess and sometimes in class.  Now nearly 30 years later, Richie still finds fulfillment in creating his own lyrics about world consciousness.  Richie came to Athens in 2015 and has been a very integral part of the Athens community with his daily job, as well as, volunteering with Upward Sports.  Richie continues to impact the community and beyond with his involvement with St. Jude Hospital, United Way, Project Safe and supporting missions to Ghana and the Virgin Islands.  Richie currently resides in Athens with his wife, Obergenia and their two children.
