Palace Doctor is a three-headed garage pop beast from Athens, Georgia. Phillip Brantley (vocals, guitar) tapped Jeremy Wheatley (drums) and Nick Robbins (bass) to round out this grumpy, jaded trio in the summer of 2016. As members of Modern Skirts, Crooked Fingers, Eric Bachmann, Kuroma, Velveteen Pink, and more, the boys in Palace Doctor literally have thousands of shows under their belts and “cannot wait” to play even more. Hank Sullivant (MGMT, The Whigs) helped produce their debut LP, Mangled. Due out in September via Athens, GA label Laser Brains, it’s a lean and memorable slice of literate college rock.
